About MyInHand

Salary and tax numbers that actually make sense

Built for India's salaried workforce. Free, accurate, and without the clutter that makes most financial tools frustrating to use.

Why We Built This
HR quotes CTC. You live on in-hand.

Every offer letter in India has the same problem. The number at the top -- your CTC -- bears little resemblance to what lands in your account on the 1st of the month. PF, professional tax, income tax, and the employer's own contributions all chip away at it before you see a rupee.

Most salary calculators either get the math wrong (outdated tax slabs, missing cess, incorrect 87A rebate logic) or bury the answer in complexity. MyInHand exists to fix that: give you the exact number, show the full breakdown, and explain why.

Every calculation on this site uses FY 2026-27 tax rules -- new regime slabs, Rs. 75,000 standard deduction, Section 87A rebate up to Rs. 12 lakh taxable income, and 4% health and education cess. We update the moment rules change.

Our Principles
How we build every tool
๐Ÿ”ข
Accuracy first
Every formula is verified against the actual Income Tax Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, and EPF rules. We test against real payslips and ITR data.
โšก
No friction
No login. No signup. No email required. No app to download. Open the page, get your answer. That is the entire product.
๐Ÿ”
Full transparency
We show every step of the calculation -- slabs, deductions, rebates, cess. Not just the final number. You should be able to verify it yourself.
๐Ÿ“ฑ
Works everywhere
Every tool is built to work on mobile, tablet, and desktop. No heavy frameworks. Fast load, instant calculations, offline-capable.
โš ๏ธ Not Financial or Tax Advice
All calculations on MyInHand are for informational and planning purposes only. They are based on standard salary structures and publicly available tax rules for FY 2026-27. Individual tax liability depends on your specific income sources, deductions, exemptions, and circumstances. For filing your ITR or making financial decisions, consult a qualified Chartered Accountant or tax professional. MyInHand does not provide personalised tax advice.
